Sharing Foundatino

Has anyone had any experience with the Sharing Foundation? They are based in US and do alot of work in Roteang Village outside of Phnom Penh.

Thanks

Sharing Foundatino

We have been collecting donations to bring with us and asked if we could drop them off at Roteang Village. We were told that they could not ';entertain us'; which is not what we were asking for.

I guess they have enough donations and don%26#39;t need any more.

Dear traveler do not misunderstand them there English is very poor and sometimes the say one thing but mean another.

However there are many charities 鈥榓nd foundations that need help some are very open some closed.

City dump is a foundation where they help feed dress and offer health care to the children living on the city dump.

All money given to them is spent with you and that way you see where you鈥檙e money is going to.

Also you have full access to the online web page to see what money is coming in and where it is going to.

Children born with HIV

AND SO MANY MORE foundations

Actually it was the president of the Sharing Foundation in the US that said they couldn%26#39;t ';entertain us';.

Thanks alot for the info. I will check it out and see if we can help there.

This doesn%26#39;t surprise me. I think you%26#39;ll find that most serious NGOs and foundations that are doing work on the ground are unwilling to host visitors -- doing so takes a lot more time and resources than you might think, which means there%26#39;s less time and resources available to spend on the group%26#39;s programs (whether that be working with orphans, alleviating poverty, or what have you).
