Please Help! Siem Reap Accomodation!
City River Hotel has a swimming pool. US$45/night for a double.
But why do you need a swimming pool? Shouldn%26#39;t you be out in the field climbing the temples?
Please Help! Siem Reap Accomodation!
Thanks for your suggestion...and yes, i will be ';climbing the temples'; but we all need a little R %26amp; R and from reading reviews on this website a pool is a nice thing to come back to after a day of exploring
Hi Charlotte,
Try Encore Angkor Guesthouse (we would call it 3 star hotel). Lovely brand new, right in centre of things but quiet at night as in a little side street, only 2 mins. walk to Pub Street, Old Market, and night market. US $25 per night.
Has swimming pool, breakfast included, fruit, toast/jam, tea/coffee. Nice rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Laundry directly across street is cheap.
I stayed there, woman on my own in December last year and have rebooked for Xmas/New Year.
Enjoy Siem Reap great place to visit.
Hi! Highly recommended, fulful your demands. See my review: tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g297390-d100… .
Really value for money, excellent room from $50.

Hi Charlotte,
Welcome to Siem Reap! Within your budget, I would like to recommend you to Angkor Discover Inn (www.angkorinn.com). However, there is no pool in this hotel. For the location is perfectly located central of the town; restaurants are a just a door-step.
If you wish to relax in luxury resort; you may try with Angkor Palace Resort %26amp; Spa (www.angkorpalaceresort.com). Though the price is indeed over your budget; but I am sure you will like its swimming pool (one of the biggest pool in Siem Reap).
Enjoy your trip.

Hi Charlotte,
I am not a tour guide or a hotel owners, but I did just stay at Encore Angkor and I second the recommendation. Very centrally located...you just have to cross one busy street to be on pub street, in the middle of the action...shops, restaurants, the old market.
It has a pool and I paid $25 for a single room, but if they don%26#39;t have one available, i think it%26#39;s $30 for a double.
I%26#39;m just returning from my trip and i recommend you make a reservation, relax and don%26#39;t worry about it, because before you know it, you%26#39;ll be coming home!
Happy Travels,
Nancy
I%26#39;ve just stayed at Siem Reap Hostel, I%26#39;m not normally a hostel person and I found this place to be excellent. It%26#39;s about a 3 mins walk into the centre of town, a nice quiet area and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have huge private a/c rooms which will suit your budget as well as a swimming pool and lots of lounge areas.
