Is 4WD necessary to go Beng Mealea? Or is it possible to get there by tuk-tuk?

Been there twice by motorcycle and once by tuk-tuk, so no, you don%26#39;t need a 4WD. Just a bit of time, and $5 for the road toll.

How much does it usually cost for the distance if I hire a tuk-tuk driver for one day?

The price list that my hotel gave quotes $29. See if you can stop at the Roluos Group of temples on the way back since it is en route to the center of town.
