Please has anyone done any of the elephant treks in Sen Monorom or anywhere else in Cambodia?

Who did you organise it with?

What was is like? Any tips?

And how long was the trip to Sen Monorom from P.P?

As with any elephant trips, try to think of humane issues (sick of seeing poor elephants heave people up and down hills). I happened upon this blog which mentions a charity organization - which seems humane - that does elephant trekking in the area you mention.

Thank you, l have done a trip to the elephant nature park in Thailand with the mentioned Lek in your link and this is why we are going all the way to Sen Monorom to visit elephants as we are under the understanding that the trekking is done with the villagers who have worked with the elephants for centuries and in Cambodia this is how it is done.

I have been in contact with the peoplee at the Nature Lodge up there but would really like input from anyone who has doen the trip!
