hi there all we just got back from two weeks in cambodia,went from the temples to the coast to lazy beach two hours form the coast,any thing you need to know,let us know,hope we can help some one like the people on here helped us.

Glad you had a great time. How about posting a JBR (just back report) about your trip as they are always useful to read. I would love to know all about Lazy Beach as I intend to stay two nights there.

Hi Zinzan,

your heading suggests you went to Cambodia with children. Is this the case? If so, can you post about the kids ages, the kinds of things the kids liked, etc

it is always helpful to know how other parents entertain their children when away.

hi there,well lazy beach was a pretty amazing place,ten huts on a beach which is a two hour boat ride from the coast,the place is run by three english people and some local staff who are all very nice,the huts are very basic,but its all you need and want really.a bed a bathroom and a couple of hammocks looking out over the ocean,take a step out your door and your on the beach.the place is very quite and peaceful.they have a nice restaurant and bar,its more like a common area where you gather at the end of the day and read your book.its pretty much one of the last places that is untouched.

we took out 13 yr old daughter and even she enjoyed it.mind due she enjoyed the whole country,think its because the people there really do make the country what it is,its the first time i think we have taken her to a country and she has not got bored.

one last thing about lazy beach,wait till you see the sunset.stunning

forgot to tell you one last thing on lazy beach,take a torch,you might not need it but they do turn the power off late at night,think its goes on from about 6pm till about midnight.oh and mozzie spray.it is a island after all
