Anyone know how long it takes by taxi from Airport and how much it costs and what the alternatives are? Arriving late afternoon, travelling alone, and not that intrepid!!

5 hours (or 6, if the driver does the speed limit) and probably $40-$60. Be sure to bargain as their first price might be something like $100...As other posters have mentioned, it is MUCH easier to book yourself into a hotel for that day, hang around town a bit, and catch the bus the next morning. This is what I suually do and I travel alone. You do not have to be intrepid, either. It is safe, and a piece of cake. You will also save money and the stress of spending another 5-6 hours on transport when you arrive...
