Single female traveller needs safe place/guesthouse to stay

As above, need ur 2 cents worth of advice on where to stay in Phnom Penh.

Arriving on the 20/02 but staying for a night before going to Siem Reap the next day and will be back again in Phnom Penh on the 23/02 - 25/02.

I guess my expectations are quite little. Must be a humble clean guesthouse that of course does NOT serve as a brothel cos i did read there are some guesthouses which bring in sex tourists. No thanks to that as i%26#39;m a single female traveller.

Location prob near the Mekong Bus terminal or opp the Royal Palace area and cheap accomodation ranging from USD 8 - USD 12 a night. Need jus basics like fan and hot water. =)

I think you have your last sentence backwards Brit LOL . Seriously , use the Indonesia hotel , clean and safe , $10.00 and up dependant on tourist numbers , if the Ido 2 is full , the Indo 1 is not far away .

Yeah well I guess my post got zapped!!! LOL Not exactly sure what they would expect to see, prob no worse than Orchard Rd, Singapore.

Any rate found FCC to be quite good, but obviously way over budget for the OP. :)
