One such place that springs to mind is The Lighthouse Orphanage situated on the outskirts of Phnom Penh just across the Tonle-sap river . The man who runs it has a reputation for honesty and he is the property fixer-upper also , no government funding here .It could do with some attention being brought to it , should give it the boost it deserves .

You should contact AAC (association Artisans Cambodia) in Phnom Penh who works with around 50 organizations in Cambodia which supported disabled persons (www.aac.org.kh).One of them is Samatoa based in Siem Reap. They are very open and you can visit the workshop in siem Reap and the silk farm in Phnom Srok (www.samatoa.com).

please see childrenofcambodia.org they have several projects in Siem Reap including teaching street kids at a free school that a couple of monks set up.
