Have been in PP for 3 years , have not heard of any problems here , out in the villages is the usual place to contract it .

Bring bug repellent. Even in the jungle area, that is all I do.
There are no concerns re malaria in Phnom Penh. I lived there for over a year so I know there are a lot of mozzies - you can buy repellant at supermarkets or pharmacies.
If you%26#39;re going to the islands off Sihanoukville, you need to take antimalarials.
Have a great time. Try Veiyo on the riverfront. It%26#39;s a great restaurant that raises money for an orphanage -fantastic food too!

Do you? I just came back from there and DEET, a mozzie net and coils sufficed nicely, thank you...
Veiyo is a good place to eat indeed! They have great amok, and their kids(from the orphanage)do beautiful dance performances most nights at the restaurant.
Thanks for the info, very informative looking forward to it

Dunno seem to be immune to mossy(s) in this part of the world which is a good thing I might add. Won%26#39;t need malaria tabs in PP at any rate.
